Default 1919 Spiceland Academy, Indiana Photo

Hello all.

My dad picked up this Spiceland Academy, Indiana original photo and I am wondering if anyone has any information that can be shared regarding the players or photo itself. I am also curious as to why three of the players are not wearing "SA" uniforms.

It states 1919 in the bottom left corner and on the back of the cardboard picture frame it states "Robert Myer Top Row 3 from Left".

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Ted

It was a standard cabinet-style team photo that likely was owned by the family (likely the Meyers) of a team member. As your family had your high school baseball team photo.

It's just speculation why some were not in uniform. Perhaps one is the team manager, forgot uniform to the photo shoot, etc.

Thank you for the info. I will probably just donate it back to that community.

These types of photos of high school, college and town ball teams are popular collected.
