I'm not sure if this really counts as a holy grail card but I was fortunate enough to get BOTH blue background Cubs for my m116 cubs set WITH BLANK BACKS. Ive yet to see another Mordecai Brown let alone one this nice so i am very happy about it. Probably my favorite non signed card in my collection.

WOW! What a difference those 2 cards look just because of the holder they're in! One holder enhances, the other degrades!

One holder double protects, the other allows direct contact with all four edges of the card!

Not to make this a holder thread, but many PSA holders have the card directly against all 4 sides as well, or much worse on their other holders, have the card sliding all around the inside of the sleeve which drives me nuts. Aesthetically, the SGC holder presents much nicer imo.

Want I should get a PRO and CSA slab of Mr. Gehrig too?
I do like this card, and maybe those would be cheaper

Me, I am a SGC guy, so someday the baggie slab might go.
I have a Type2 Ruth that is baggie slabbed too

Show us some more grails, good thread!
