That the consignor to SGC thought (or hoped) that this was a T227 and therefore listed it as such on the invoice sheet, and it got entered into the database and was never corrected?

Although I really think that someone should have picked this up - just the size alone should have rung a few bells.

got be one of the worst T219s that SGC has ever graded?

But how fast do you think SGC would take this back, make it right, not charge for shipping, and probably throw in a couple of free grading slips?
And all with an apology, a smile on the face, and a sense of really wanting to make right the situation for the customer....
I've hade customer service from both, and IMO they are light years apart.

Daniel

Ps. By way of example, "Leon, have you heard back from Joe Orlando yet?"

Leon,

Mark my words, when you are no longer the moderator, Joe will "feel" out the new guy. If the new guy is a right wing PSA supportor, he will return the call immediately.

Only on this board can an SGC mistake be turned into yet another PSA bashing thread, unbelievable.

That's pretty funny Peter - but in all fairness, PSA brings it on itself.

SGC definitely made the mistake here. I am sure they will fix it with a smile but it's a mistake.....
