This is a classic case of obsessive compulsive disorder. My dog also has this disorder but can't get to the ballpark.

Good for him. We all collect things. He seems pretty enthusiastic about it.

I've never gotten a ball, perhaps I'm not asking in the right language.

When I lived in SF, there was a crew of kids (3 or 4) that used to ballhawk at Giants games. They would come away a few balls every game. They didn't count balls from batting practice. They only counted balls that got during the game.

I love pinatas. You get to beat the crap of something and get rewarded with candy.

When they asked him what his friends think of this, he said: "Friends?"

It would be so much easier if my goal was just to catch a beer cup from every game. I've caught two balls - both in batting practice....one I had to maul an old man to get but I don't think he needed any stitches. The other I simply elbowed a 6-yr old to the side and snagged in my glove.

I would like to have Barry Bonds sign one of my balls, but I guess I would have to shave it?

....not really.
