Looks artificially aged, thus I'd say its a reprint

Even if it is a reprint there has to be an original. Looks good under black light and magnafication even if it is stained

Hi-
I have the same ad. It is from the September 25th 1913 issue of Life Magazine, page 539. Mine is part of the complete issue (I'd love to display it separately but I hate destroying anything old). I do not know if this ad appeared in other places. I also do not know anything about the sweaters or the company. If the paper is consistent with early 20th century magazine paper I would assume yours is an original.

Mine measures 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" and has a blank back. Is there anything on the back of your ad and Thank you for the info. D.

Mine is smaller (4.5 inches wide and 6 inches tall) as it is one of four ads on the page. There is another ad on the back of the page as well. If yours is blank backed I would lean towards what Jay wrote regarding it to be a likely reprint/fantasy piece. I hope you enjoy it regardless!

Thanks for the help and yes I will enjoy it. I picked it up for $5.00 at an auction and it is worth that to me.
