Default 2013 National Convention Net54baseball Dealers Roll Call

One week to the National! Like last year, I thought I'd start a thread for all dealers attending the National to identify themselves. There was a similar thread started a few weeks ago, but it seems to have slipped off the main page. The idea is that it could be printed out and used as a handy reference for Net54 attendees. So please limit your replies to one and keep them brief.

Gary Nuchereno and I will be in booths 1060/62. We have an extensive inventory of 50s through 70 in all sports, as well as a nice selection of prewar baseball (tobacco, caramel, gum, and others). Look forward to seeing everyone there.

I have not received my booth number yet, but I will be set up in the Olympic Pavilion. I am the only dealer in there that deals in Olympic autographs, along with other paper items. I may also bring along some basketball and boxing autographs, but we are required to have mostly Olympic items.

Booth #309, Love of the Game will be previewing items from our August auction, including loads of Cracker Jack and a T206 Plank.

Seeing as we're right next door to Cubanbaseballcards.com, I'd expect our little corner of the National will be filled with music and sarcasm. Come visit.

This thread will be stickied so folks will be able to come back and check on it to see where the dealers are. It might even stay stuck during the National. With all of the smartphones it could be used as a virtual directory in order to find board member / dealer tables. And as Scott mentioned, I will be at 835p with he and Richard Masson. Gotta love the National.

Also, lets do everyone a favor and keep this thread clean of all unnecessary commentary. Only dealers with their table numbers and what will be at the tables etc......Thanks!!

Steve Sabow at Booth 1110P: 6 booths straight in door. Tobacco cards and similar, E's, Ts and Ws. I bring baseball, football, basketball, hockey, boxing, golf, tennis, etc.

Keys to doing business with me:

1 -- I only get out about 1% of what I bring in showcases and on the table. You MUST ask for an item if you don't see it. It may be under the table.

2 -- If I have had it for a while, I can deeply discount the item. Even if not, you still may find yourself with an incredible deal.

Stop by and say hello. Bring me bread labels for purchase or trade.

Best regards and see you in Chicago.

ERROR COLLECTORS: Best of luck but I put aside such items and they are not for sale at this time.

Default As a further help

As of this evening -- the NSCC official roll call of dealers with their booth location

http://www.nsccshow.com/images/2013%...mbers-7-24.pdf

OH, and my editor (Rich Mueller) amd myself have several purposes at the National; one of which is to add to our growing stable of writers/contributors.

Leon was courteous enough earlier to give permission when I saw a very strong story posted in the Autograph board so please feel free to contact me if you think you can come up with an concept of about once a week writiing and do that for a few months. As an FYI, I think it's a blast that so many people tell me they read my columns -- so there is a nice ego boost there as well. This invitation is for collectors as well And as Leon knows, I love to give credito to this board

Please PM me if interested and I (we'll) talk to you during the show.

Regards
Rich

Default Les Wolff Sports LLC - 811 promenade

Les Wolff Sports LLC is proud to be setting up at the 2013 National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago. Here is a sampling of what we will have at our booth (811 promenade). For the First time in our 5 decades of collecting, selling, appraising, buying, consigning, and auctioning we will have an autographed Babe Ruth bat. It is graded PSA 7. Another spectacular item is a rare T206 Ty Cobb with Ty Cobb back card, “King of the Smoking Tobacco World”. It is graded a PSA 2 and looks magnificent.

I have not been up to much lately, but now have an official business (see post title) and will have business cards and price lists at Leon's table. All items will be easily accessible, as will I. And I will be at the dinner-haven't been to one of these in 10 years, so looking forward to seeing how old all of you have gotten.

Today, prior to getting busy later in the day, I tried to visit all the people who posted their booth numbers on this thread. I really enjoyed meeting a number of you but there were a few booths where either the individual wasn't there at the time, they were busy with customers (I didn't want to interrupt) or they weren't set up yet.

I'm going to try to revisit the booths where I didn't get to meet the Net54 members but please also feel free to come by to say hello if you have the opportunity. Again, I'm in booth 656 and would love to say hey. It was an absolute pleasure meeting some of you today and hope this turns out to be a great show for everyone.

Sincerely,
Chris

I figured I would go ahead and unstick this but bump it once. I actually came back to this thread a few times to see where dealers were located, while I was on the floor looking for them. I hope all of the other dealers/collectors have had as good of a time as I have. Even if I didn't buy or sell anything it's always fun to see old friends. That's a lot of what the Natiional is about (to me).
