Default NEW TOBACCO FIND - Baltimore Maryland!

A recent find of T205 and T206 cards FRESH to the hobby, has had the pleasure of finding the comfort of my home. These are some beautiful raw cards that are from the original family. The AB back is Chase black cap. The T205 Cobb in the corner is an AB back as well. T205 Gray is with Stats.

A truly beautiful collection, 253 total cards with well over half being in the condition I am showing here. Strangely, not a single Cy Young card was included.

I am very happy to share the finding of this collection with you tonight.

I always like hearing about new cards to the hobby that come from the original family where the cards came straight from packs of smokes. I like seeing the condition the cards have remained in after all these years.

Nice find and thanks for sharing it with us Dan!

Thanks for all of the kind words. Finds like these keep us all searching. I will never forget Jantz finding the Murr'y T206 at a show.

Thanks Jim R and Jim R is correct! That freaky Old Mill is from this collection!

I didn't notice it at first but saw it when I got home then Jim R told me it was a series 2 front with a series 4 back! Now that is Freaky!

That is it though, no T205 or T206 freaks.

That Sweet Cap banner is way cool! You were lucky I have no display space left! Thanks for hanging out during National, that was fun.

Dan

This was funny as all heck! Glad I was sitting down when I read it!
Heck I am not even allowed to submit to PSA. I feel special!

Thanks for all of the kind words gents. Since I have the T205 and T206 sets finished, these will all be offered to the public after they are slabbed (I hate the fact I have to slab them to sell them but that is today's hobby).

I would like to take a minute to wish all of you great luck in having the thrill of a decent find. Dad and I have been very lucky over the many years and it is a great feeling to get a raw 1 family owner collection of tobacco.

Dan- heckuva find! There are so many oddball collectors out there that that Old Mill should be very pricey at auction.
