Default Louisville Mascot Bat - signature ?

Hello all, first post and looks like a great forum!

We've had a Louisville Mascot FP310 bat around for years, and I've gotten curious about the signature, which is somewhat obscured. (I imagine it doesn't necessarily match an autograph.)

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Welcome! Looks like James L(eroy) Bottomley. A HOF’er, Jim played for the Cards,Reds and Browns from 1922-37. Would love to see more of the bat.

I think Chris nailed it. It does indeed look like Sunny Jim.
