Default PSA Cobb ball on Ebay

Do you guys like this at all? Has been authenticated by PSA/DNA but something looks off to me. I'm sure the experts at PSA never fail but I wouldnt pay 8000 to put in my collection. Ive seen it a few times. Am I wrong in my feelings on this one? And it may be fine I just dont like it for whatever reason. Am I looking at this wrong to think it looks like the 2 Al stump forgeries also from 1960 that Ive attached? Also has a psa/dna # V12989 that when I searched did not come up in there data base.

One reason why I don't like it is because I feel like the ink is too "fresh" or recent looking for a ball that was supposed to be signed in 1960....but I admit, I've been wrong on things like this before...just my 2 cents.

why does it appear that the green ink is written over the stains or on top of the brown stains

agreed. appears to be green sharpie like but green did not come out in sharpie line until 70's, not sure whats going on with this one but dont like it. Emailed seller who has 18000 reviews to ask why psa cert number is not in database...go figure no response. He has a letter from PSA/DNA that has picture on it but I get feeling it has since been removed from database as authentic. just my opinion

It looks to me not to be green sharpie but a green flair pen. Old time collectors should remember the Flair pens . These pre date sharpies by several years.
