Default Dizzy Dean Question

Is it me or does this look off? I am thinking that it is possibly secretarial:

I'm far from an expert, but I wouldn't buy it.

That JSA sticker denotes items with values (usually) less than $20. Something is not right here.

that is no good and no way the sticker would be on it and especially on like that , some of the stuff jsa certed for upper deck that would use a sticker like that with the word auction across it but upper deck had them place directly behind signature , and a few i had done for upper deck they did use these stickers but behind auto , this is just bad and most likely a bogus sticker

Wow...that is so awkward-looking. It looks like a 10 year old kid did that.
That same dealer is also selling this one of Musial (also looks like a 10 year old did it):

I thought the sticker placement was very sloppy and I didn't even see that Musial, which is really bad. I am guessing that the seller is female based on the name. Goes to show that guys aren't the only ones playing games in the hobby.

I had some similar Dean 3X5's that were deemed signed by his wife I believe. Maybe I should have sent them to JSA.

I think we can all agree this is no good if you know anything about Dean signatures. As others have said, another thing is that there is no way that JSA sticker would be on a Dean signature. It is blatantly obvious someone took a sticker off of Joe Blow and affixed it to this garbage. Again, common sense people. I saw this a few days ago and dismissed it immediately. Jason

Many years ago there was actually a man who, as a living, ghost signed for athletes and I believe non sports celebs too. I think that this is an example of that man ghost signing for Dizzy Dean.

The whole point in posting this was to both further hone my own ability to identify autographs through the opinion of those more experienced than me, as well as to educate those on this site that are novices. I believe the responses have done this. It is good to know Jason that you can quickly identify a good vs. bad autograph, but the same cannot be said of everyone. Too bad the person that put in the $109.95 opening bid on it didn't see this first.

OK NOW LOOK AT THIS ONE closer , look at the sticker , it is a older stamp of approval but look at the black ink on it , it is a fake sticker somebody had made , in the past could turn into ebay and have it and all the stuff removed , new ebay , item stays

At least the Dean seller offered a 14 day return privilege, our Campanella seller has no returns...guess he knows his signature is BAD.

Kirk - I am going to start a petition to bring back John Gonzalez, wanna sign it? . At least when John was there someone really cared about authenticity.

i would be on board , heck i would sign it if it was speedy gonzalez , i wonder if people realize there is actually nobody there now? you can list whatever you want, the fallback is buyer protection and opening a case , then it filters through and if there is a problem you can get the money back , that is not a theory it is what they are doing, and the bogus vero program . heck john actually pulled off my cobb check cuts but he was on the phone to say he was sorry, that i will never forget

Richard, these are not part of those bogus signatures you posted several months ago trying to be recirculated thru the market again are they?
Just curious.

Maybe he is having an overstocked sale . His description is great and it sounds like he really knows his stuff.
