Leon ~ I hope you don't consider this OT...

I still haven't received my lots from Mastronet's or Lew Lipset's auctions.
What is everyone else's statuses with their lots? Anybody get any yet? I know some of you have received e-mails from Mastro that says your stuff was sent and I haven't even got that yet.

Lew called me to get my physical address, but that was like a week and ahalf ago.

I'm getting a little concerned.

I still have not received my the card I won from the last Baseball Vintage auctions by James. I sent him an e-mail asking why and he said that I should be getting it any day now. That was two weeks ago - I think. I guess it is always the waiting game.

I just got my lot from Lew today...still waiting on Mastro.

Seems like I was off by half week when I said Lew sent my package. Thanks, LEW! I hope I didn't come off to you guys that I was concerned about Lew getting me my stuff. He called me so I knew he was doing what he needed to do. I am mostly concerned about the post office doing what it has to do.

I currently have another package that is "lost" in the mail and hoped that it wasn't the case with Lew's and isn't the case with Mastro.

After waiting a month for delivery of my baseballvintage auction card, I sent James V. another email and this time he responded. He said the delay was due to his ill son and the card was on the way. Just wanted to mention this in case anyone else was having problems.

Seems like a nice guy but has about a million excuses why he ships slow. I think he has a lot of personal issues. We discussed him on the board before....next he'll say the dog ran away with it....or he was out of work...car broke down.....it's raining.....my tummy hurts....etc....

Leon, I would say your status as a buyer (excellent) and how much you spend is why you get your stuff immediately. I would be surprised if the auction houses care that you are the moderator here. I get my stuff immediately too. Ron Oser used to ship me my stuff before I paid. I get served immediately because dad is a nice guy so the auction houses serve his a$$hole son immediately.

As they said in Caddyshack:

"You know, I'm no slouch myself"

"Don't sell yourself short, Judge; you're a heck of a slouch"
