Default Help with early baseball photo

I picked up this baseball photo. I thought it was cool with the horse and carriage in the photo however I am not sure exactly what it is. It appears to be a cabinet photo as it is attached to a thick cardboard back however I never saw a cabinet this early in color. is this a color picture from this time period or something else? Any help would be appreciated.

It might be hand colored. A lot of early baseball cdv''s and tintypes were. Maybe others will chime in but that is my first thought.
Also, to date it we need to analyze the printing method, paper stock type and so forth.....
