Nice desk, is that pine?

Great room, I hope one day to have a room dedicated to only my hobby.

The desk question was a semi-joke (obscure Seinfeld reference!)

I really like the graded card displays...very nice.

Right...when you go vintage, go all the way, baby!

Default Good job!

Pretty nice...I especially like how you used the closet creatively as extra display space.

Kirk - My favorite piece is that B'Ham/Yankee letter circa 56', best I recall. Nice frame job and a one of a kind letter !

cool room.

Whats the story on the black wall cases that display your graded cards?
They dont look like others I've seen, they dont appear to have the little ledges that hold up the cards. Did you make those?

A nice touch with the hard to find Blue Snaggletooth Star Wars figure mixed in with your sports memorabilia.

Default Cases

Got the cases at the local Hobby Lobby then used double sided tape from Lowes to attach the cards. Cases are 25 but HL has alor of 50% off sales.

I have one, enjoyed it. Then we got a new addition to the family...a bouncing 79 year old, my wife's mom. She lived there for 8 years. She passed a couple of years ago, but the kids took it over...Maybe someday...

Default Closet

My stuff is more or less confined to a closet in my work room. The pics obviously don't do my collection justice...hopefully one day I can have a room dedicted to the hobby complete with wall displays and the works....

I also threw in a pic of my fav cards out of the bunch...

Nice room, Taxman. I'm an LSU fan so all the Bama stuff stands out to me. As much as I despise them I have to say that I was rooting for them in the National Championship... and rooting for Ingram for Heisman. He always seemed like a class act and after watching his speech I'm convinced of it. I just wish he'd go into the draft so we wouldn't have to play against him again next season.

Is Nick Saban pictured in any of your 'Bama memorabilia? Because if he his, that piece of memorabilia will suddenly leave in a couple of years, and then hold a press conference during which it'll cry and say how wonderful your hobby room was.

Love the room! Especially the display of Mantle cards. I don't think I would ever leave that room if it was mine. Thanks for sharing.

Nice room, congrats.
Now if the Bama memorabilia were replaced with Arkansas Razorbacks stuff (Corlis Williamson jersey, signed national champs basketball, Cliff Lee signed baseball, Lance Alworth jersey, etc.) it would definitely be a 10 in my book.
