If Jeff says he talked to people who thought it was brown and were bidding accordingly, then people were thinking that. Maybe they had other scans, I don't know.

What he said was, based on the price it was obvious that people thought it was brown.

Exactly, and 29 was a response to your suggestion that 26 was based on speculation.

Not sure what happened there.

It looks like you can only get to the page a specific way

https://www.google.com/search?q=t206...eiUMM:&spf=213

or the person just saw this and put up a password.

Why don't you call him up and ask him if he bid on the card and what color he believes the Goodwin Lajoie Lenox is?

Being as I know very little about what is being discussed here, this likely isn't the place to say it, but I will say it anyways, and that is, Jeffrey, you have one heck of a nice collection!

Surprised, however, not seeing a 52 Topps, Robinson or a Campanella? I assume those are on the radar/want list?

Dale, yes, on the want list. However, with a list a mile long I tend to ignore the cards that are easily gotten while seemingly spending most of my time on the more difficult Cobbs, Chases, Browns, Donlins, Robinsons, etc. I also don't have an E93 Cobb for this very reason.
