Default Three more P2 catcher pins

Thanks to David Bryan's recent eBay auction, I was able to pick up three more P2 catcher pins.

As I have learned over the last year, Stanage and Needham are very hard to find!

It's not a Hall-of-Famer or anything, but it's a big pickup for me. It's also the most I've ever spent on one card in 30 years of collecting (I haven't bought many high priced cards). Thanks to the fellow board member that sold it to me.

Wasn't particularly looking for this card. But the centering and full borders are T206 Mecca for me. 20% coupon sealed the deal.

Obviously a bit of a theme here. Plugging away on a T206 Monster in PSA/SGC 4-5 with great centering

t206marchPickups.jpg

And an unexpected pickup from a card shop this week -- part of about 200+ strip cards they had just acquired.
Couldn't resist picking out about 25 or so.

Great cards as usual everyone! I picked up two N172 Johnstons last week for my pose run. I only need the Hands on Hip pose for completion. Good times.

Great additions, Jason. Good luck with the final piece. Any reason behind going after Johnston's cards?

Thank you for the kind words, Chuck and Sam. Definitely means a lot coming from two guys of high collecting stature .

Bill--great Waddell. One of my favorite portraits in the set when it's done right, and that copy is done right.

Default Added a Cobb

My 1st pickup this year. Grabbed this Red Cobb, still looking for a decent 33 Ruth, maybe later in the year.

Thanks guys. It is a very slow time for me right now. I am hoping my consignment @ LOTG does well, so it can lead into another purchase maybe or down the road.

Very pleased with the look of this one in-person. Ends a long personal quest for this card.
A number of good Net54'ers bid on this card as well. If it ever leaves my collection, it'll come straight to the BST. Gotta keep it in the family!
