Default 1890 Female Team Cabs: Same Team?

I need some of the ear experts to weigh in here. Anyone think there is any possibility that these are the same team, or at least partially the same team?

It's tempting to jump to the conclusion b/c of the uniform similarity, but keeping in mind that the actual uniforms were color, these could be completely different colors (in addition to different collars, maybe wider stripes, etc).

But I'm trying to figure out if any of the people are the same. Like the woman in the middle of the back row in the top picture compared to the top right in the bottom picture? Anyone else?

Overall, the first picture looks like a generally younger group, and I am wondering if maybe it is an earlier version of the team (although from what I can find out, the Franklin club did not exist prior to 1890, so it's a long shot).

Thx very much for any and all opinions.

J

Joann -

Honestly - while I don't see any faces from one team that appear to match anyone in the other, if you want anything better than shooting from the hip, you need to post uncompressed hi-res images. The faces are barely discernable, and the ears are vitrually invisible as is.

First of all ----------- GREAT cards.

Although I can't match any of the players, one would have to think some are the same (sorry, no help).

The one thing that jumps out at me is the overall demeanor between the two. The top, all players are posed proper and very Victorian. The bottom, some are quite "in your face."

Effie Earl, SS, I think I saw hanging out late at the local bar Friday night.
