Why? It sold for a nice $3k as the top graded card at the time. 1/8th of its PSA 10 sale. You think anyone is going to pay the PSA 9 price for it when it counts as a 1 for a registry set?

The card by itself (raw or auth-altered) or the card still in a 10 holder?

eBay with “Trimmed” in the title, it will surpass the 3k mark by a wide margin.

It will never get sold in the 10 holder, so your idea is ridiculous. If you loved it so much at $3k, why didnt you buy it when it was a 9?

1) The fine people that make a living selling cards will purchase cards up very quickly for inventory with even a slight drop in prices to resell at current prices. Money is made buying, not selling. 2) Collectors themselves will also quickly buy up cards with even a slight price drop. Mainly to try to keep the value in their own cards(collection). I know several people including myself have bought cards just because we don't want rare/high grade cards we have in our collection selling too cheap. Then we have previous proof how absolutely stupid we are as a whole. Masto straight up stated most cards graded are altered and that did nothing to the prices. |

+1...Absolutely, because all of this stuff in 2 or 3 years will die down, and Brent will stay laugh his ass off going to the bank....You can then put the PSA 10 at Major AH and exclaim over your profit.....
