Default Nothing says red flag

like puting "No returns on any item" right in the title. I would accuse this guy of being witty, but I would only be half right.

Look at his "1909 T206 Wagner" back says 1995 Wagner Estate CMG.

These types of eBay reprint card listings are a loophole at best, and outright fraud at worst.

Not trying to stir the pot, but “fraud”? Misleading (intentionally or not), sure. But if a seller clearly lists in the description that the card(s) is being sold as a reprint, how is that a problem?

Inventory is $5 worth of junk. If just one sucker bites they're way ahead.

Would you agree that misleading someone is a deception?

I have no problem with someone who lists these cards and writes in these title that it is a reproduction - example Reproduction of a T206 Ty Cobb. When they list in the title that it is a 1909 T206 Ty Cobb and bury the word reproduction in the description - as well as put a few bends in it to make it look old - their intent is to trick someone into thinking it is real and it is outright fraud because it is not from 1909. In most cases they know it is a reprint and come up with some plausible story about how it could be real.

You are correct to large degree, I too noticed the "selling all cards as reprints,' and I assume the $100, $200 min bids won't be met. However, I would say the seller has to say "This is a reprint."

The semantics tell it all in these listings, as it always seems that the seller writes "selling as a reprint", leaving the door open that maybe it isn't. They do mean that it's a reprint, but the fact that they are running a scam won't allow them to just state it plain.

The also say "Per ebay rules, I must sell it as a reprint," when there is no such rule.

I was thinking more of a nitwit than witty.
