Default E107 Set from 1990 Auction

Posted By: barrysloate

The previous post about the Copeland Sale reminded me of something I wanted to share. In the April, 1990 Guernsey's Auction, lot B609 reads as follows:

E107 BREISCH WILLIAMS 1903- These 156 cards represent the largest grouping of this issue known to exist. Included are cards of all 147 different players in the series plus 9 team changes...Team changes of Dillon and Doyle are the only known cards missing from this group....

The rest is filler but what is this all about- nobody has ever catalogued 156 unique cards from this set? By the way, condition is described as fair to mint and estimate was 40K-45K ( I think I'll pass, a little too rich for my blood).
