Default Photo ID Help

I have no idea who this player is. It actually belonged to Zach Wheat and was in his stuff. Kind of reminds me of Grover Cleveland Alexander. Have read where he pitched several times against the KC Monarchs. Any one have any idea who it is? Has Ostrum 1917 on the picture. Thanks.

Thanks guys. Has anyone ever seen him in a KC uniform? Is the 1917 on the picture necessarily a date or could it be like a print number? I notice he married a woman in Manhatten KS and Ostrom was a photography studio in KC. Have read where he pitched against the KC Monarchs but they didn't start til 1920. Zach Wheat also lived in KC and they must of been friends for him to have this picture. Thanks for any help on this topic guys.

That's him. Some newspaper research may turn up the reason for the uniform.
