This guy's got a Wagner, a Cobb/Cobb, a Magie, a Ruth rookie (What? No Plank or Doyle???)

My question is, how come the Lajoie is $950 when most of the rest are $30?

HONUS WAGNER T206 1910 WHITE BORDER - RARE
POLAR BEAR BACK

Description:
You are bidding on a Honus Wagner Tobacco Card. In order to comply with Ebay rules, this item is being sold as a reprint - however there are no reprint indications or markings on the card. This item was purchased as part of a very large collection of cards & autographs. The item shown is the actual item you will receive - and the word reprint does not appear on this card.

At least he spelled Polar right.

Steve

Lajoie and Gehrig are gone. Should I have the others killed off?

Nah! I think it's pretty clear they are all reprints and worthless. He was trying to sell Lajoie and Gehrig for something like $850 and $650, so some buyers might think they were real. Anybody buying a Wagner for this price should know what they're getting.

Was trying to sell, they are toast unless he relisted them. The high price tag may entice an unsuspecting newcomer.

I just sent the seller a email blasting him inferring the Wagner card MAY be authentic
If there was even 1% chance of that being true I think it would be on it's way to PSA today
Mow some poor schmuck will pay a ton of $$$ for a item worth less than $$$
But if the high bidder is that stupid
That's tuff for him
But shame on seller for misleading the Public

Well, reprint or not, 6 bidders and 23 bids on Wagner and someone paying $152.50 to own it. Quite a battle!

As long as there's buyers like those, there'll be sellers like him.
