Default "reject hartland figurine"

Hey everyone, i came across this hank Aaron hartland with a short bat. The paint looks VERY original, no evidence of tampering or restoration(why would anyone do that anyway) and I came across a hartland history web site that mentioned hartland figurine rejects being sent to Indian reservationshttp://www.hartlands.com/history.html ...Can anyone with knowledge on these help me out or point me in another direction? thanks!

The bats are all removable. It is almost as common to find these statues with replacement bats as with the originals. Isn't this just an ultra-short replacement bat that someone stuck in the hole?

Very well could be. I didn't know the bats were removable and the paint job definitely fooled me. I got excited when I heard about the rejects though...Thanks for the info!

I collected Hartlands for years, there were Hartland updates in SCD for quite awhile. The bat is a replacement bat. I never once heard about a reject Hartland and an Indian reservation.
