Default Boston Sunday Herald Newspapers Oct 1916 "Ruth No Ruth"

So I won this Boston Sunday Herald Newspaper dated from Oct 1916 depicting the Boston Red Sox including a very young Babe Ruth (1st row center).

My question is no where on the bottom is his name listed with the other players. What would be the reason for that? Or could it be a printing error by the Boston Herald? Just seems odd that out of all the players Ruth's name would be the one missing and he's front and center in the team photo.
