Default T206 tableau vivant

Has anyone "acted out" the image on a T206 card? I believe it is in the Smithsonian baseball book that a collector dressed up as a player in a 19th century cabinet card. He's wearing what looks like original clothes and holding a period bat that's a good match of the image in the card. It would be neat to have something like that going at the national--a contest maybe. Maybe drum up T206 sales.

interesting idea, Pete!
i believe that you're referring to baseball archaeologist, Gregory John Gallacher, who dressed up as Buck Ewing and executed the pose from
Old Judge Cigarettes.
i suspect Wonkaticket could come up with some great portraits of Net 54
folks in the vintage attire, as you suggest, to give us an idea of how Leon et
al would look in the vintage wardrobe!!
all the best,
barry
