Default T212 Obaks

Posted By: Wizard

Starting a T212 Obaks Collection.

Any suggestions on where to find good quality cards at reasonable prices?

Any suggestions on where to find information regarding the cards, teams, players?

Thanks in advance.

Here is the best site out there

Mark Macrae is a great source of Obaks. Not the cheapest prices, but you can trust his grading and his selction is second to none.

Default T212 Obaks

Issue 3 of the VCBC has an article by Mark Macrae that breaks up the three years by team, and is especially useful in that it lists variations in the 1910 150 series which are not found elsewhere (have to admit, haven't checked the Obak reference section of the Vintage Carboard site to see if they have it). I believe Beckett and SCD also have errors in their listings, as does Lew Lipset's Encyclopedia of Baseball Cards.
