Default Strange misprint on T206

Posted By: Joseph French

Has anyone seen a misprint on the back of a Sweet Caporal 150. I have a PSA graded Glenn Liebhardt 150 Subjects where the word Subjects is missing the "T".
There is a space for the "T" but there is nothing there, not even any partial ink. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi Joseph, I'm glad you decided to post about the card!

Here's a scan of the card he's talking about, looks good to me, unless it's a super smooth bit of paper loss.

A super-high resolution scan of the area in question would definitely help us know for sure.

probably they had just cleaned the plates or presses and a bit of oil or water or even some foreign object kept the area from printing up. Neat, but certainly not a variety per se, if one examines enough T206 backs you will quite a few with bits of text not printed up fully, yours just has a bit more.

I think it's neat Joe, and you probably won't see many like it with a full letter missing. It's the first one I've seen. Thanks again for sharing it with me.
