Default Recognize these Red Sox?

I picked up these 3 snapshot-type photographs a while back, all with unidentified players. The only one with any writing on the back is the second one which has "1949 Sarasota Florida" on it. The second one resembles Ted Williams to my eye, but I can't be sure that's not just wishful thinking without unbiased confirmation Any insight from those with better eyes for such things than mine?

2nd - Williams
3rd - Johnny Pesky

The first looks like Earle Combs but I am not sure he was ever a Red Sox coach.

Combs did coach for the Red Sox for 5 years in the early 50's ('49-'54). I think it is him in #1.

Combs looks like a match to me (right pic is him circa 1950). Thanks for the quick help, Jeff!
