Default Piedmont Factory 42 T205

Posted By: Scott

Just curious if there are any T205 back collectors that can rate how scarce a Piedmont factory 42 T205 is vs. other T205 backs?

Is it as similarly scarce as its T206 counterpart?

Default Piedmont Factory 42 T205

Only been tracking factory designations for a little bit on T-205s. From what I can tell...the 42 backs are a little tougher to find than the 25 backs. Of course I still have a small sample size to work from currently. What I want to know is which players can be found with which backs. I know there are a few players that can only be found with certain backs (other than the minor leaugers). Anybody have some info on that?

For what its worth, the Fact. 42 Piedmont T-205 I have is of "Chief" Meyers.

I posted the thread because I won a mixed lot of T205/T206 a month or so back and the main reason for my purchase was because the lot of 10 cards included a Wiltse one-ear and a Broadleaf T205 which the seller mentioned.

What the seller left out of the description (and was pleasantly surprised by) was that one of the T206s as well as one of the T205s were both Piedmont Factory 42s as well.

I've read about the scarcity of the T206 back but was curious about the T205. When I inspected my T205s, it turned out to be the first Piedmont Fact.42 T205 out of about 90-100 Piedmonts that I have.

Based on that, I was curious what other T205 collectors have noticed. If there are any other T205 collectors that would like to chime in, it would be much appreciated!
