Default How do you Keep your Photos on Longer?

Posted By: Greg Theberge

I notice that photos I and several others have posted are now mere little red "X" boxes.

How can you keep your photos on here longer? I usually just add them by going to the "Insert Object" button on the bottom here, then go to realms, etc.

Would be nice to keep the photos on longer. The photos I've posted on the game used forum never seem to go away.

Thanks,
Greg

Greg

If you upload them on the net54 server, they only stay for one week. In order to keep them up longer, you need to store your pictures on your own site, like flickr or photobucket.

The photos in our temp files are supposed to only stay a week though many times they stay a few days longer. Photobucket will stay...but if you use that then please watch the size carefully. Sometimes I see folks posting huge scans...and it doesn't bode well in long threads....

Thanks guys. Now that I have photobucket, how do I insert it? Nothing seems to be working when I click on photobucket at the bottom of the page.It seems to pull up the pics, but I can't seem to insert from there.

Greg

Greg, once you have signed in you click on the photo you want and a link will appear in the little box below the photos...copy the link and paste it into the message.
