Do you understand how insulting this is to people of faith? If you do not believe, fine. Why be so obnoxious about it?

I wouldn't be too concerned - I don't think he gets along with atheists either.

Sorry you are so unhappy that you need to dump on others traditions and beliefs for apparently no reason other than to agitate.

I hope you find peace.

By your own admission, you are agitated. So I suggest that YOU are the one who is unhappy and should seek peace.

Please note the 'Archive' beside the author's name in the article...I think someone else from beyond has had a hand in this remarkable comeback.

Looks like a case of mistaken identity between Sr. and Jr. I think that RK Jr. is the subject of the article.

Default as usual cycleback is the voice of reason

-and hilarity too - Thanks David- Keep the Norwegian jokes coming.

As for Broadway Rick, I was fortunate to have avoided dealing with him after seeing too many alarming accounts of his sketchy actions.

And I share Bill L's sense that pious lamentation from people who didn't even know him is kinda pointless, even a bit hypocritical. Which is why I don't ever post in the RIP threads unless I actually knew the person who's gone.

But on the other hand, karma suggests that we should be at least a little sorry that someone's lost his life- and probably there are some folks in this world who are genuinely mourning the loss. So no crowing from this quarter either............

Oh and BTW Leon - you don't want to know what we will all say about you when you're gone

Tim,

I cringed when I saw this thread come up again.

Oh, by the way, why not post a pre-post mortem thread about our fearless N54 leader... ought to make for a fun thread....

I'm sure it wouldn't start with "Dearly beloved...."

I never dealt with him that I remember, but agree that there is nothing wrong with bad mouthing the dead, if they deserve it.

If there is a god, then he / she / it killed him, so why would they complain about anybody being happy about it?

Badmouthing the dead is so awesome that you can't even be sued for it! Only the living can claim defamation.

hard to believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner and some of your posters feel like they have to expunge their souls of the bile before the holiday.maybe that's a good thing so they won't take it out on their families.According to recent studies a ton of violence resulting in police calls does break out on Thanksgiving.Remember the scene from Scent of A Woman ?Haters...get a grip !

Don't wish bad things to happen to anyone but I had bad experiences with
Broadway Rick's Strike Zone on eBay in the 90's Bought a large $ amount of cards from him....they were all overgraded...and PSA said a few of them were altered....after I returned the cards I never received a refund...so he sold the cards and still got to keep them...and I have read many reviews like them....very shady indeed.....

Only worked with him once...doing some PR for him/CSA. Enjoyed chatting with him. He had an original All Star ball on display. Seemed like an interesting guy.
