Default #1 nickel insert baseball coin cards

I've just discovered baseball insert coin cards and am looking for any information on these cards. What years were they produced? Is there a checklist anywhere that list all of the cards? I collect Yankee memorabilia and would like to put together a set of Yankee coin cards. Other than a few on ebay where would a good starting point be. Thanks for any help.

Dear Denny

I looked around at the various cards, they seem to be produced in the 80/90s
because Cal Ripken is in the set. I think the cards are newer but the coin year are as early as 1898 for Harry Chadwick. I would look in the big SCD guide or use google images there had a lot of cards on it I had better results calling them coins not nickel. Hope this helps
Mike

These are home-made collectors' issues. I don't recall ever seeing them prior to the 2000s.

If I was still editing the Standard Catalog they would never be considered for inclusion due to their unofficial origins.
