Default Mystery Mantle Endorsed Ball????

When I had a shop I bought a collection of balls and this was in it. I know its terribly faded but it does say Mickey Mantle Pro League in what would appear to be his early signature. Im pretty certain its a facsimile auto but does anyone know if he had a endorsed store model ball . Hope the pics help its the best i could do. At this point Im going to assume there is little value but it was a cool item I wanted to pick yalls brain on. Thanks !

Well it probably once looked like this one. Mantle-endorsed Ball is from early in his playing career (note the old signature style). The two are slightly different though... Mine is Official League, while yours is Pro League.

With the heavy surface wear on yours, I would surmise it's not worth a whole lot. But can assure you it's a Mantle-endorsed Ball (not actually signed).

Hope this helps a little bit.

The round stamp looks like the Montgomery Ward logo.
