Default t206 Help

Hey guys I need help. There are 3 t206s with Piedmont backs. On the front though, there are the players stamped with Sweet Caporal fronts. Is there a premium? Extra Value? Will SGC mark this overprint? This help is really important. Thanks.

Here is the card:
I only payed $25. Sorry for the glare. You can see it much better in person.

Scans would be helpful in determining value. I can help you upload them if necessary.

I can't say whether or not SGC will mark it as an overprint, especially not having seen scans/pics.

I'm responding blind since you haven't posted scans, but there could be a premium to the right collector. If the cards are commons, then I'd say a small premium, again, to the right collector. If the cards are of HOF's, especially the bigger ones such as Cobb, I'd say the premium would be higher.

How much of a premium is anyone's guess, especially not knowing the condition, player or seeing pics.

Thanks for all the help Chris! It means a lot Also, thank you for everyone's input. The scans are above. Pretty cool that they have Piedmont backs with Sweet Caporal fronts, in a way.

Pretty neat example! I've seen wet sheet transfers like this one (one of my examples is below), but never with a different back.

That's what caught my eye! I was like, how does a Piedmont backed card end up with a Sweet Caporal image on the front? My question was answered thanks to Chris and others

Anytime the price is that low and you think you might have something, jump on it. You're not going to lose much on a T206 card, even low-grade commons sell for $15, worth the chance

Nice pickup wazoo !!!

It's always interesting to have a T206 with a WST of a different back on the front. Good deal !!

Sincerely, Clayton

Real simple rule of thumb: it can't be an overprint if the writing is backwards.
