Default Ordering more Net54baseball T shirts....and a dissection....

I am about to order some more Net54baseball T shirts. If anyone wants something bigger than 3XL please email me or PM me your request. I will order a few 3XL's and the rest smaller, otherwise. I think I can get 4XL and 5XL. The design is not really going to be open for debate and right now I am leaning towards this one....but it's not set in stone. Honestly I always pick one from my collection, which is rather diverse, and Wags is in the first HOF class....

I know it isn't open for debate... but sticking to your collection I would love to see this card put on a shirt in the future:

1869 Peck and Snyder Cincinatti Red Stockings

I will look into the Peck and Snyder but sepia might not work well....

If anyone else has a larger than 3XL, or smaller than Large, shirt request please PM me or email with it. I have a few requests and will order them in the next few days..

I think the T206 card with all of the back variations/over prints/mis prints would look pretty neat. For newbies, could you show that card Leon?

If I must. Chris B (hey Chris) really rocked on this one... With the "busy-ness" of it I don't think it would do well on a transfer to a shirt....

How about a Net54 shirt that simply says:

I DIG T206 SCRAP!!

The back of that Peck and Snyder would make a great T-Shirt!

Leon,

Have you given thought to putting the front of the card on the front of the shirt, and the back on back?

I'd like to see the heads from iconic portrait cards (not just the T206s) of the original HOF class photoshopped into a scene, like five men in a hot tub. And maybe a Joe Jackson head peaking through a window. Surely we've got some talented photo-shoppers around here that can pull that off in a funny yet classy way. And then we could do a caption contest to see if anyone comes up with something funny to put under it.

I know Leon said it isn't up for debate, but someone should do it anyway, and he can use it if he wants to. Its time we join together as a community and put some of our own effort into Leon's T-shirts.

Nothing is set in stone yet but I am leaning towards what was already said. As for a front and back being different, it might mean more labor and more cost. I will check though....

Well if this is turning into a "let's tell Leon how to design the next shirt" thread...I'm in!!!!!

Hi Leon...!

Personally I've never liked the same card on the front and back. I think just a net54 logo in the front is great...no need for a pic of a card...then a larger card on the back...like the t206 freak back!

I like the hot tub idea too!

For whatever it is worth, I generally prefer action shots of some kind to portraits for T-shirt purposes. Only so we don't have to answer the "Why do you have some old dude's face on your T-shirt?" question quite as often. That said, the Wags is an iconic one, and I will purchase regardless! (Thanks Leon for doing this.)

As a salesperson all of my life this reminds me what happens when you ask a group of salespeople a particular question. (and I didn't even ask a question) You get a million different answers. I actually had a very nice member tell me if I pick his design then he will take 2 but if not, he will get back with me. I told him to get back with me.

Good news, bad news. Good news, we might get a different design on the front and back. Bad news, I have quit listening whatsoever to the recommendations. I will be going to the bank today to grab some cards but I am not sure what will be used at this point. Still leaning towards the E90-2 Wags but the P & S could make a run, and nothing is set in stone yet ..LL

ps...I am still only taking reservations for med or larger than 3XL.. ALL others will be available for quite some time as usual.

pss...Raymond, I have always loved that D311 gay-looking running guy....

I too would be interested in a black shirt (XL) with the E90-2 Wagner if that is a possibility. No interest in the P & S (no offense to anyone).

It's ok, this is like chocolate and vanilla. There is no right or wrong. Since I will end up wearing more of these than anyone, and on a daily basis, I get to suit my fancy.

Black shirts won't show our blue logo well. (Wags is still in the lead for the card)

I will let you know later but whatever is ordered there will be plenty of Large through 2XL.......

If I say the colors being considered, 7 more people will tell me what colors they prefer.

I bet that card, and the Net54 logo, would look great on a dark blue shirt.

I don't think I've ever bought one of these, but looking forward to seeing the outcome.

Based off of premiums added to the cards, I think you should have a purple shirt!

Also please do a hot pink. I want to stand out at the card shows.

Maybe light blue?

I was only thinking that the blue in the logo and the blue in the card background were a good opportunity to have a shirt where the colors didn't clash at all.

Also I really think you should have a picture that really highlights this forum... maybe this one or one of the follow ups:

Oh, you mean like the blue in the last batch which is a little more blue than the scan shows? As I said, it was a second choice and not my fave.....

I don't think that looks all that bad, but I think the Wagner you are considering will look better - the white card outline would help...I think.

Steven, I like your concept, except that it lacks a WaJo card!

How about a shirt with cards of all of the 5 initial HOF inductees? (whatever it takes to get a WaJo on the shirt!)
