These do not looked trimmed but printed...the back of his Cycle T205 wheat is the wrong color and the odd blips on the Dahlen do not look correct either...I would be extremely leery of buying anything from this guy...

The seller's name is Tim Galloway. He has changed his ebay ID at least once in the last two years. Today I sent him the following email about these cards and obtained the following incoherent response:

SR: Nice selection of unslabbed T206s. Any reason to believe that any of them have been trimmed? Thanks, SR

TG: No, that won't work! It is ALL or NONE and our return policy is on our "ME" page. I have to tell you though, you are the first to complain about one of these auctions and I find it very odd that you don't want me to talk to you "Appraiser"!

If anyone has any idea what he is intending to convey through his response I would love to be enlightened.

Thanks.

Scot

Pete, I think you are being too generous. His explanation doesn't exactly cause one to want to jump in and bid. I have no idea what he means.

Don't know about the Wheat's back being the wrong color but the card is trimmed. So is the Dockman Chance.

from them (he and his wife) and it arived by UPS cracked in half, with the card creased at the crack. UPS came promptly to get the card from me and fill out report. Within 2 weeks they had paid them (shipper) the full cost of the card and shipping. It took me almost a year to get refund from them ( he's taking care of it - she's taking care of it) Finally after 10 or more call and an equal number of emails I did get my money back.

Well, I see the Network54 T-Card Nazi's are at it again! How is it that you can tell if a card is trimmed or altered just by looking at a pic!!!! Why is it that any high-grade T-card that is listed on Ebay is INSTANTLY trimmed or counterfeit or alterd or re-colored etc?????
Here is my thought on you guy's:
Probably not one of you have a collection worth talking about and you have no life other than this "Fine" chat board so you have to go on here and bad-mouth anyone that may have something worth talking about!
Have any of you Nazi's seen Napolean Dinamite? One Word "KIP"!!!!
Sit down and think about that!!!!!

I wish "guaranteed 100% authentic" also meant "guaranteed 100% untrimmed".

I received the following apologetic email from Tim Galloway regarding his earlier ballistic email and thought I would pass it along:

"Scot, evidently I sent you the wrong email! Sorry for that! I have a gentilman that wants to send me back a coin lot after he has picked thru them! I stand behind everything I sell and I have no reason to believe they have been trimmed. It is a Virgin collection that hasn't been in circulation for probably 20+ years. Hope this helps in your decission whether to bid or not. Regards, Tim"

Sammy's reference to Kip in Napoleon Dynamite (the movie) is to a guy who is basically a computer geek trying to pick up women on-line all day.

Sammy, we're not Nazi's and were not computer geeks. Just a bunch of people who enjoy collecting tobacco cards for the joy of collecting them and I know that if anyone of us came across an unslabbed Nap Lajoie card that looked as good as the one you're selling on Ebay and had no reason to believe it was altered, it would be on it's way to PSA or SGC faster than you could say con-artist.
