Default A word in support of the typical shipping fees we pay

Posted By: warshawlaw

Here is one that makes $5 to ship a card look peachy:

I won a nonsports lot from Skinner for $300. The auctioneer doesn't ship itself (except at a minimum cost of $30 in a month and a half) but instead farms out the shipping to shipping agents. My $300 lot will cost me in excess of $40 to ship AND I have to pay sales tax because the lot is being picked up by the agent, which adds nearly $20 more to the cost. I am paying 15% juice plus 20% more for shipping/unnecessary sales tax. Ouch. Probably the last time I get skinned by Skinner.
