Jeff that pre-rookie of the admiral is a great looking card. I have never seen one one before. Congrats and thanks for sharing. Here is my latest pickup. I have been looking for a PSA 8 of this card for close to a year and finally found one that was centered and got it for a great price.

Found one of my holy grails, a 1941 NCAA Championship program. Wisconsin defeated Washington State 39-34.

Winging its way here from Europe as we speak:

From 1958, he was one of the greatest Soviet players and coached the 1972 summit team that nearly beat the NHL all-stars.

Cool card! But just to clarify, the Russians played Canada in the Summit series, not a team of NHL all-stars.

Sorry, but with all due respect, they are NOT the same thing.
As a proud Canadian, it was OUR COUNTRY that won the series, not an NHL all-star team.

Back in 72 the NHL was Canada much unlike today's NHL. If your not Canadian, part of your thought process back then was it was us (NHL/Canada) versus the world. With that said, the Canadian National Pride is completely understandable and should be embraced.

Default Proof Cards

I am very happy to have picked these up from the bay. Ten blank backed color proofs, along with one standard card from the 76-77 Topps Hockey release. Pictures to follow:

This ebay purchased arrived today leaving just four cards to complete the 1961 Topps set. Pat Stapleton had a 15 year NHL WHA career, but this card always looked a little creepy to me.

Here's a card I've never seen before, a 1962-63 Sudbury Wolves Crown Life Hockey School Gerry Cheevers pre-rookie card. Back then, he was known as "Jerry"!

I took a break from T206 and recaptured a pair of hockey cards I had a lifetime ago. Very happy to have reacquired these:

Love the pre-buzz cut Mullin!
Here are a couple of recent pick-ups:

• A beautiful for the grade 1953 Parkhurst Rocket Richard. Tough to find these centered with nice registration!

• A 1922-23 Royal Bank Hockey Team RPPC with hall-of-famer Roy "Shrimp" Worters (Goalie)

Default Circa 1910 Goalie Stick

Antique Goalie Stick. Just got this beauty in. St Marys Specialty Wood Company hockey goalie stick. Nice condition and I know these are hard to come by. I have been looking for one of these for my collection for a long time and the bonus is the condition and the makers mark

This card completes my 1966-67 Topps hockey set. The card gets an A grade because it is trimmed, SGC "customized" the gasket to prevent the card from moving around.

My latest pickup...this guy had an OK career, for a 3rd round draft pick.

Hard to believe he's already in his 50's.
