Default Pricing of E95 Notebook Cutouts

Posted By: Paul

Is this a typical price for an E95 notebook card?

I thought it was a real bargain, but my snipe failed.

Paul,

This doesn't answer your question exactly, but about 4-5 weeks ago on eBay a notebook cutout of a Lajoie (E96) sold for just more than $100. I was the underbidder at $99, and if I hadn't bid, it would have sold in the $60-$70 range (I'm going from memory here). I think it was graded a 2 by GAI.

I'm a Lajoie nut, and I had a ho-hum attitude about the card. I just can't get excited about them. But I'm sure they're considered desirable by many.

not putting the "e95" in title cost the seller. but now we're also giving these numerical grades? i would use the barfing smiley but since it's gai in term of relevancy so it's just a dry-heave .

Price was a little low on it, imo. HOF'ers have gone for about $100-$150, or so, in the past......Commons around half of that, from what I remember....

100+X rarer than normal caramel issue, 1/3 to 1/4 the value at best.

Ive owned about 15-20 of them including the complete notebook.

Ive seen and checklisted 20 different over the years.
