Default Good Buyers/Sellers on the B/S/T

I thought I would list the people I have either bought from or sold to
on the b/s/t in the past month or so. All were very pleasant transactions from fellow collectors. If I left someone off it was by mistake as I have not had a bad transaction on the b/s/t.

Very good traders:
Martin Neal
Scott Latsko
Bob Obrien
Larry Harris
Chris Wassmuth
Brian Goldner
Ed Woelfle

A few names to add that I have had great transactions with

David M.
Spencer W.
Robert A.
Dan M.
John M.
Steve M.

The board is a great place to do buisness-most of the time I get my card before the seller gets his payment or atleast at the same time. Also I got these cards from board members free in the past month. One more-got a killer Brown Hindu at about half price.

1. T206 blank back Revelle
2. T206 Theilman Broad leaf 350
3. T210 Lipe portrait

Every BST deal I've ever done here has been smooth and that includes some fairly big ticket items, at least by my standards.

Pretty much every deal I have done on the BST has been good. I think with the new board s/w it's quite a bit safer than before, and it was very safe then. It's always caveat emptor though...

btw, I realize being a moderator might be a motivator for someone not to reneg.

I have low end tastes, so when everyone else upgrades their collections, I have been able to add to mine. I have never had a problem with any B/S/T transaction.

Same as above. In the 1-2 years I've been hanging here I've probably completed around 40 transactions between the two boards and never had a single problem. Actually I've had nothing but the best.

Off the top of my head I can give a virtual high five to
Frank Ward - Resent with no added fee when I typo-ed my address and item was returned.
Frank Wakefield - Also sent me a copy of the Zeenuts guide for nothing!
Philip Garry
Steve Ewel
Rob Dewolf - Awesome business card included for no extra fee!
Chris Diaz
Mike Ortega
Andrew Jerome
Albert Gonzalez
Jeremy J - Hand delivered item one afternoon when I was hungover and looked like hell.
David Halpen
Jodi Birkholm

Actually some guy named Luckey down in Texas stiffed me on a 1981 Donruss Rusty Kuntz RC. I think he's in the mafia though, so I'm not going try and get my 63 cents back.

I've never had a bad experience yet on our BST. The list of board members that I have bought from is long. Just to give you an idea what I'm talking about. When I joined this board 2 years ago, I owned 2 T206s. I'm now well over 100 and only 6 of those cards came from Ebay purchases in the last year. I just got turned off by all of Ebay's changes and focused on other venues to purchase my cards from. For me, our BST has been my best source so far.

Over the last 18 months I have purchased quite a few cards off the B/S/T and every transaction was 100% smooth. Over a dozen different sellers - all excellent!

Cheers,
Blair

I have never had a deal go bad on the b/s/t. My most recent deals have been with Eric Merka, Scott Latsko and Scott Levy. Really the only T206's I buy off of Ebay any more are Hindu backs every now and again. Simply because they are my favorite and I try to snag one whenever it fits into my budget.

To piggyback off of what Johnny said, buying and selling on this board has truly made collecting more fun for me. I never had a problem, and I don't anticipate ever having one. Thanks all!!

Default Better than a tracking number .....

I've had nothing but good results with the BST ... BUT, when it comes to COMMUNICATIONS ..... No one can top wacturner, AKA Tony Turner.

He is better than a Tracking number ..... He's on top of his game.

Thanks again Tony ... we need more like you.

Over a span of a few years, i've had a number of transactions on B/S/T, and all have taken place without issue.

Mike--Thank You, and the same holds true on this end. A fine addition. A+ all the way.

I told him for the deal he is offering that I would kiss his butt in front of the entire forum and give him an hour to call a crowd and I am a man of my word.

Here ya go, Ill get over the embarrassment long before I get rid of the card,

Virtually everyone on BST is a pure pleasure to deal with. I am grateful that we have an anti-ebay alternative!

Default Bst

I have to echo the comments that have been made in previous posts. During the past several years I have bought, sold, and traded dozens of cards and I have never had any problems. I wish that I kept better records so I could list all of the names. This is a great group of people and I would like to thank everyone who has bought my items, or sold me items, or traded with me.

Rick

While my BST experiences have all been good, I would like to send a special thank you to Paul Mifsud, who was flexible enough to allow me to acquire a T206 Demmitt, #518 of my monster.

I've made a few BST over the years and would like to mention a few nice folks:

Andrew Totten, Rich Klein, Jerry Wickens, judsonhamlin, Jim Thayer, Jason Christoperson, Steven Finley, Jason Albregts and Paul Carek.

Happy Thanksgiving!

In light of the recent bad seller post, I think I owe it to the Board to try to be more specific about the good sellers I've dealt with. So I'll rack my brain, review my PMs, and edit this post as I can add more. I certainly don't want to offend anyone I did a good deal with, but it slipped my mind! Anyhow, here are good ones (I thought it might be relevant to some to indicate "HI $" where the card(s) purchased were more than $250.00.) Here are the good ones off Net54:

Dan Koteles (HI $)
3-2 Count - Tony (HI $)
jrog007 - Jim (multiple deals, total HI $)
davidbreadman
Matt Wieder
Shammus - Brian (HI $)
Chris D.
Abravefan11
PSACJ
DWilliams - Daniel
JasonD08 (multiple deals, total HI $))
T206Collector
AndrewJerome
JamesGallo
pclpads - Dave
bowlingshoegiverouterguy
jimivintage - Jim Thayer
asphaltman - Dave
jabiloxi - Joe

Cheers,
Blair
