Mastro Shipping Charges?
Posted By: Tom Boblitt
the shipping business, I've never had a problem with Mastronet nor Robert Edward or others. I've heard more horror stories with other auction houses. I don't typically bid on and win oversized items. I can tell you that costs to ship prints/oversized stuff can be exponentially more expensive sometimes just based on the physical dimensions of the package. UPS & FedEx charge the higher of the physical weight and the dimensional weight, so you may get charged high rates on substantially larger, lighter pieces just because they physically take up more space in vehicles. |
