Default How does this get an SGC30???

OK, so many of you know I am actively collecting the e125 American Caramel Die Cuts. I have looked for this card forever, and am now asking: in the upcoming Legendary auction, this card is in there and grades an SGC30 WITH A PIECE OF THE CARD MISSING (The bat is supposed to extend above his head maybe 1") AND PAPER LOSS ON THE BACK

http://www.legendaryauctions.com/Lot...&watchlot=true

How can that be??? Am I missing something in the grading process??

Greg

Greg, with a piece of the card missing it seems like this one was simply a mistake! That's my take, just seems like the grader missed that...

I have to agree with Sean on this one. Pretty rare piece not seen too often. No excuse, but I think that is the case.

Best,

Andy

Sean, Andy: I completely agree the grader missed it, as there are only 3 known examples. My question: Does Legendary have it A) Regraded, B) Lower the starting bid, or C) Do nothing??

Thoughts, members?

Yep,looks like they dropped the ball here with the grader(s) not knowing that there was a bat extension. What does the consignor do? Do they know?
