Default RIP : Dr James L Lowe Another Star in Hobby Heaven

I am sad to report that my Father past away this evening amongst loved ones and not in any pain . He lived a full life and his accomplishments would hard to be repeated .

2 Phd's
1 Honorary Doctorate
World traveller and collector of almost 2 million postcards .

His presence here will be missed but never lost or forgotten . I am grateful to have been his son .

Very sorry to hear of this Jeff. The few times I had the privilege of speaking with your dad he was one of the nicest gentlemen ever. RIP Dr. Lowe.

My dad is an octogenarian ex-professor with a terminal illness and I make sure to spend time with him. We still have good times and I'm taking out to lunch tomorrow . . . But he was never a collector of anything-- though has a passing knowledge of baseball cards through me talking about it over the years.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone . And for the record he will be buried at the National Cemetery in Washington Crossing , Buck County PA .
