Default E253 Oxford Lot In Mastro

Posted By: petecld

If anyone who reads this board ends up winning the E253 Oxfords lot from the Mastro auction ending this weekend I would LOVE to buy one of the cards from you.

If I've read the text right, the lot contains 4 Rogers Hornsby cards: 1 ex - 2 vg - 1g.

I'LL BUY ANY ONE OF THEM!!!!!

It's the last card I need for my set and I don't have the money to buy the whole lot.

Thanks

I would be interested in the lower grade Johnson and perhaps a Ruth (the last two I need for my set) if the winner of this lot is reading...

But not for the Oxfords. I'd like any one of 20 or so commons from one of the E107 lots as a type card. I just don't have the funds to plunk down the cash it will probably take to get one of the smaller lots.

The same is true of the massive Old Judge lots, too! Hey - Christmas time is coming. Is there a better time of the year to share with friends?

I wouldn't mind buying a E107 from any of those lots myself.

If the winner wants to sell one or two, e-mail me.

Hey guys,
Don't know why or how (well sort of) but I ended up with the Oxfords. I am sure I will be selling some, if not most, of them. I just need to figure out how to use my computer scanning skills better....and then watch out ebay......unfortunately, I paid a high price, as ya'll can see, so will not be able to give any away for a song and a dance.....not even too sure what these things real market value are...since I don't see too many.....the only one I already have is Frisch and I paid over book for him.....I am sure it will be 1-2 weeks before cards are in hand...we'll be talking....best regards.....

I have five Mayos that I picked up as part of a Mastro lot that are available for sale/trade (Foutz,Glasscock,Lovett,Latham,Lowe). If anyone has any interest, or for that matter interest in the Buchners that were part of this lot (359) or maybe even the Ward round album page please let me know.
