Default Possible Variation?

Wonder if anyone out there is familiar enough with 1970 Topps Scratchers to answer this question. Received back from PSA this Seaver graded NM-MT.

If you’ll notice, the scratch area on the back is bordered by red. I haven’t seen that on any other Scratcher to date. Any ideas?

If I remember correctly red was from 1970 and 1971 was blue .

The red ones are from 1971. The 1970s were white and black on the inside.

Yes, PSA makes mistakes on their labels all the time.
