Default Joe Tinker museum in an old water tower?

Some guy in Muscotah, Kansas plans to build a museum in honor of native son Joe Tinker inside an old water tower that has been discarded by the city. When he is finished the outside will resemble one very large vintage baseball. Crazy? Genius? Just weird?

No more wired than a guy that builds a baseball diamond in the middle of a corn field..

I saw that article in the KC Star today, also. Pretty interesting, but where would he be able to find enough Tinker memorabilia to make it worthwhile, especially since he doesn't appear to have much to begin with?
