I haven't been to the show in perhaps 2-3 years, but I always remembered it as having a broad base of great material -- from vintage to modern. Certainly more dealers than I would see at any other local shows.

Do you happen to have the address of the show? I was planning on stopping by next weekend, and I wasn't sure exactly where in Ft. Washington it was (other than at the Expo Center).

I hope the show is as great as I remember it!

I drove down to this show two summers ago when I lived in Maine. I found that it had a great selection of both vintage tobacco and candy cards as well as vintage material. The show had a better selection then any New England Show.

Ft. Washington is always a great show in my opinion. One of the last, one of the best.

I've found the show to be a good show. It doesn't
always have what I'm looking for in terms of
vintage items but it is still fun to browse
around.

This weekend's show hold special interest for
me because I believe the signer for Sunday
is Ralph Kiner.

It is the best show in the Northeast. Be sure to see Terry Knouse for wonderful vintage material.

Good Luck---Jay

John: Thanks for the plug! The reason I didn't get it is because I need my cards to be PSA Graded, and the guys at PSA (when I sent them the web link to the scan of the card) said it could not be graded due to being undersized and therefore possibly trimmed. I am hoping to register my set with PSA when they make a Hall of Fame registry, so I decided to hold off on buying an ungradable card just to hold me over until a gradable one appears.

If I get to go it would be to simply walk the floor. I need to see what my "honey do" list is for Saturday.

Two months ago, bought an Old Judge O'Rourke, ex+, from Terry Knause for $2100. It's a little small, though perfectly proportioned; that's when I discovered that all Old Judges aren't the same size.

I've heard that show is the greatest; never been there.

The Ft. Washington Show is probably the best Baseball Card Show on the East Coast. Andy Madec and Brian Drent will have their current auction lots to look at and all of heavy hitters(Superior Sports, Sports Cards Plus, Bill Goodwin, Memory Lane Inc.- JP, Vintage Sports Investments, Dave Forman, etc.) in Vintage Cards normally set up tables there.

There is always a nice array of cards from different sports periods. A few of my friends also set up tables there. PSA and SGC will have on site grading, a nice show to either get things, or get things done. Hope to see a few of you guys/gals at the Show. Please send me an email if you want to meet up and shop til you drop in Ft. Washington.

Julian
