Default Ebay No Longer Notifying Sellers of Bid Retractions? (slightly OT)

I just happened to notice this on one of my current auction listings when checking the bid progress. It had shown a bid of just over $20 for the last couple of days, but when I checked this morning, had dropped back down to $9.95. Sure enough, the high bidder has retracted his bid. In the past when this has happened, I received a notification e-mail from eBay about the retraction, but there was nary a peep about this particular instance. Which makes me wonder how often this has happened on my own listings without me noticing (as in a quick bid and retraction, rather than leaving a bid in place for several days before retracting).

The subject matter of this particular listing is off-topic, but I am wondering if any of the other eBay sellers have had the same experience of late? And if so, for how long now has there been a lack of notification? Or is this just an anomaly in eBay's ever-glitchier system? Any insight would be appreciated.

Lance it happened to me two weeks ago and no notice was sent. I just happened to notice a large drop off in a bid level. I noticed that the bidder had done this several times in a week period.

Another thing that seems to be becoming very common is late payers. I have never not paid for an item I won within 12 hours even on over night auctions. I am now having bidders take 4-7 days to pay. This is ridiculous but on eBay you get all types.

When you are dealing with the public you get all types.
Ebay shouldn't have done away with those notifications. I presume they show as a retracted bid for the bidders? Next thing, they will probably quick tracking retractions, which would be murder for sellers.
