Couple of questions for the experts:
Have these been reprinted?
Still considered a strip card? Any full strips known?
Any idea as to who actually produced the cards?
Any known/famous name stamps (on back, last name Pamfre*, fancy script)
Comfort level and value - PSA 1 MK or SGC 10? (Need a lower scale for this card, but it's Ruth)
Thanks in advance - Will

I don't think anyone believes these cards were issued in strips. The W designation is just a mistake. And why it was given a designation suggesting a close connection to the W-575-1 set is beyond me.

The name of the publisher escapes me, but it is now mentioned in the description of this set in the Standard Catalog.

I bought a complete set last year which were glued into a scrapbook which I safely managed to get out. There was not a single card which looked hand cut, or any evidence of them being in strips. What I did notice however was that there was SIGNIFICANT original size variance in the width of the cards, but NOT in the height. I am talking about 1/4 inch and not a small varience. About a fourth of the set was the same height but much more narrow, all with original cuts. Considering this was a complete set, which had not seen the light of day for 80+ years they were in no way tampered with so although not hand cut, it is my conclusion that original size variences more significant than previously thought exist which has let to the myth of them being W cards, or hand cut in some way.
