Default You’re most prized low value items?

Posted By: John

Some of us if not all of us here have some very high dollar cards or items. But most of us including myself have a few low dollar items that really bring us joy.

I have 2 the T205 Vaughn was the very first t-card I ever found, bought it in a tiny flea market when I was 12 with lawn money. The other is a card I got of ebay from a board member that makes me chuckle each time I look at it.

So what’s the one or two low value per say items that you would never sell or just plain make you smile.

I dont think I will ever be letting this go unless I find one for a deal in a higher grade but even then probably not. How often can you say you picked up a t227 Marquard for 10 bucks lol.

Gosh Jay, autographed too! Now why did he sign his name Nera Fork? Must have been on a diet that day.

I have a 70' Topps card autographed by my old boss, Mike McCormick. For some reason, pics aren't uploading for me tonight.

The first Japanese baseball player ever inducted into the major leagues. He and Yogi Berra were the only two players of that time that did not speak a word of english. This card was obtained for $6, about two months before the majority knew that Hideo Nomo was NOT the first Japanese in the majors.

Adam, good grief. As many times as I've posted my e92 Nadja Oakes, you never noticed it?

Just won this off of eBay in the past week or so. Maybe not my most prized low value item but a neat item for a Phillies collector such as myself.

mean he hadn't seen your Oaks; he meant he had a cheap one of his own. The Japanese pitcher lasted one year with the Giants--he wasn't bad; he just got homesick. Sasaki (reliever, Mariners--very good) went home, too...
