Default Baker Stamped back T206's

Picked up another one off eBay last night. I think that makes 12 or 13 in my collection now. The reason I started this thread is that everytime one is spotted on eBay, 2 great members here alert me. If it wasn't for them I surely would miss them. It's great that other members are helping each other. Big thanks to Eric and Ed for all their help. The hunt continues. Thanks again guys. Joe

Can you share a scan so I know what I am looking for to help you? I love these kinds of projects since they are quite similar to my own autographed T206 pursuit....

Default Glad to help, Joe

I appreciate the help I get from board members on my pursuit, and know others appreciate it when they receive help. Sort of like paying it forward. Glad it worked out.

T206 collector, there are a bunch of my scans in previous threads. I'll get to my computer later and post them again on this thread. Thanks to the board and their incredible research ability I have the whole family bio. The only thing missing is if Frank sold them during his lifetime or they were sold after his death. I know he traded because I have a back with his stamp and another stamp in the same purple ink. Amazing find. Would love to know how they left the family though.
Ed, Without you and Eric I would miss the chance on most of these. Your help on this project is priceless to me. Thanks again

Joe,

I know we've talked before about these stamps. If you send me scans I'll add them to my back stamp project. I'd really appreciate it. I've got a bunch of FF Bakers documented already as you know.

And just to plug my own collecting goal, I'm always looking for cards with the purple numbers stamped on the back as in my avatar.

You can check out my back stamp project using the link in my signature.

Thanks,

AndyH

Andy, just recounted my collection and this does make 13. When I receive this one I'll scan both front and backs of all and send them to you. Thanks everybody for your interest.

Default Steinfeldt AB 460 FF BAKER

I sold this card 2 years ago and have been trying to get it back for you. I will continue trying to contact the buyer. It's a neat card and would be a good addition to your collection.

Eric, I know you been trying and appreciate your effort. It would be the first Baker back that wasn't a Piedmont. Kinda blows my theory that he only had Piedmont. Maybe acquired in that trade I documented. Two boys sitting in his bedroom trading cards in the 19 teens. Just like we did in the late 60's before they had any value except your favorite player , team or to complete your set. The one back I have with two stamps in Bakers purple ink pad just about nails that scenario. All speculation of course but I like to think I'm right.

The Steinfeldt was pictured in a website at one time by another stamped back collector. You might be able to dig through google and find it. I just texted the buyer again.
